Please Support School Gardens in the Ideas for Change in America competition
Ideas for Change in America is a crowd-sourcing competition that empowers citizens to identify and build momentum around a diverse range of ideas for addressing the challenges our country faces. From January - February 2010, more than 2,500 ideas were submitted and voted on by 100,000 people across the country. Final round voting began on March 1 and ends on March 12. The 10 most popular ideas will be presented to relevant members of the Obama Administration, and Change.org will subsequently mobilize its full community to support a series of grassroots campaigns.
KGI is supporting a proposal to plant a kitchen gardens at every school in America and is asking its friends and members to do the same. The idea is currently in 8th place and needs your support to keep its place in the top ten. You can vote for it by clicking on the badge below. Thanks.
