This just in: you're hotter than a habanero!
We kitchen gardeners have known for a long time that we're ahead of the
curve, but it's always nice to hear it coming from someone else's mouth. If
you believe a recent survey of chefs by the National Restaurant Association
[1], we are not just trendy but /ubertrendy /this year. Here are the top five
eating trends for the year according to their survey. 1 Locally grown produce
(we grow the "localest") 2 Bite-size/mini desserts (strawberries or grapes
anyone?) 3 Organic produce (check) 4 Nutritionally balanced children’s
dishes (yep, we grow those too) 5 New/fabricated cuts of meat (Not sure what
this means. Not sure we want to know. 4 out of 5 ain't bad!)
