Pods
A pod is a group of kitchen gardeners located in the same local, geographic area (neighborhood, village or town i.e. close enough to one another that they can easily get together in person). Pod members get together online and in person to 1) share things (information, seeds, seedlings, tools, yards, harvests, group meals) with fellow members and other people and groups in need in their local community 2) coordinate KGI activities (Kitchen Garden Day, Food Independence Day, etc.) at the local level and 3) build connections with other kitchen gardeners, near and far.
