Hi my name is Kathryn I have been growing vegetables for more than 20years now. From traditional beds to no dig to raised gardens to using recycled materials to containers and making a successful garden on concrete. I have been involved from conception of two still running community gardens. What I would like is to be as self sufficient as possible at some stage. We have some land up in the mountains that has a wonderful range of fruit trees and one day we may end up there. I am interested in being part of this community as I have always been interested in people and cultures, whether that is different countries or just various communities in my own part of the world. I believe that growing and producing does empower people to want to achieve more and to share what they know with others around them. Kitchen Gardeners is a wonderful project and I hope everyone takes the opportunity to participate.
